    Daily Tiptronic Usage?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey, I saw a thread like this before, but i don't remeber the answer that was given (and yes i did search). Ever since i've started using Tiptronic i've really liked it. I just want to make sure that its safe to use it daily for driving. I'm not talking about tracking or racing or brake boosting or anything like that, just regular day to day driving. I do have the CPO warranty so its not really a huge concern, as long as Audi will replace whatever it is and it doesnt effect the long term "feel" of the ride.

    Thanks.

I only use mine. Audi has perfected this, and there is not anything to worry about especially if you drive it with good driving habits. I also know a lot people with a tip that have it chipped some even with a bigger turbo and they havent had any problems. They have been running like this for a while now and no problems

Of course it's fine to use it in any mode you like as often as you like. Tip, Sport, or manual.
