Who's running REVO stage III w/ 550cc injectors

I'm running 550cc injectors with the Revo GTRS file. I'm running it with a stock MAF too.

Well Im running T6, 27psi on 93 and meth. My idle A/F sucks, way rich, around 12.0, but as soon as there is load on the car it comes up to a perfect 14.7

Yea I still have the MAF in, always have. Helps tremendously with idle stabilization (and keeps the ESP light off )

I also still get a MAF upper limit exceeded code and the highest reading Ive seen with the larger MAF is 210 g/s, explain that one. The ECU is obviously seeing something different than what it should, so not sure, guessing its because of the MAF/Injector ratio

FWIW, idle A/F stays the same with the MAF unplugged as well so I guess that would make it the injectors? The ECU can pull away enough fuel under load to keep the A/F correct but it cant pull enough at idle therefore it runs rich??

Which 550s are you running? Let me guess, genesis? Maybe the atomization is not that great. Who knows.

what kind of effects do you think i'd see with that? i dont want the car to try and over-exert my injectors thinking that they're bigger than they really are. im gonna talk to a few of the local revo dealers and see if i can still get my hands on the old tune.

either way the idea is the same. 430 vs 440 is hardly a difference when comparing either to a 550 -- im just trying to figure out if it's gonna be alright to run those injectors should i get stuck with the new file.

440's on a 550 file would make it run lean if anything

you can run the 440s/430s with the 550 file, you just cant really get on it in the higher rpm ranges. my suggestion would just be to get 550s, thats what i did. i have 430s for sale if anyone wants to buy them though.

Revo 550 file, with genesis 550cc injectors. T6/B9. Blitz EBC. The 550 map is super smooth and has much better high end performance. To top it off, the fuel consumption is just slightly more.

Have you checked to see what your A/F is? That's more accurate then your nose and a visual on your exhaust tip.

If you have the 550 file then get the 550 injectors. Your car will run much better on injectors that it was designed to work with rather then ones that are about 25% too small... not good.

iirc, the ECU does have a tolerance of up to 25%. you're running a gt28r arent you? if so, i HIGHLY doubt that you're maxing out the 440's on that

I'm running the Genesis 550s with a 3" MAF with the REVO 430 file and it works fine.

New injectors idle great compared to the Siemens 580cc I had before.

OK, upgrading to the 550 file is actually FREE. However, your REVO dealer may charge like a half hour labor to do the reflash. Also, the 430/440 injectors will run on the 550 file but will run severely lean on topend in high boost situations. The upgrade is definitely worth it because the idle will be smoother and you'll have alot more headroom on top end to turn up the boost and/or increase timing.

I used a hole saw and cut out the stock airbox so it would receive the 3" VR6 maf housing (using 1.8T sensor). Worked well. 550cc genesis and 550cc 8500rpm revo file of course... Guess we'll see how it runs in a couple weeks here...

No I upgraded. Actually sold all my elim stuff to Condo, and he's already upgrading lol... I now have all APR 3+ hardware and am using a GT2871R .64a/r T25 turbo. Mani, hotside, and TP are thermal/ceramic coated 1800deg.

I would have built this car differently if I were at sea level. I am trying to keep exhaust velocity high with this setup...
