    anyone have one out there that's painted like 1sicknickel's b7 avant was? not with his new hood -- his old one... he had the sides of the hood bulge left CF, and the rest painted. I'll try to find a picture.

    The bodyshop said the install was fairly easy. They fabricated a homemade bracket that sits flush behind the slits of kerscher bumper. I was going to hack up the bumper to retrofit these but I prefered the stealthy look;). Definitely one of my favorite mods besides the boser!

    Thx! It's hard to tell by the pics but the led's are pretty blue. I have to install my 6000k and hopefully the color will match up better.

    Color should match up fine, 6000K is the closest color to LED diodes.

    forgive me if the hood is just gray CF weave, but if the two of you did paint it black and put it on a silver car without any other hints of black it looks terrible. just my .02 cents though, do what makes you happy.
