anyone elses rear locks like this???

rear driver...i think this one is at the right height or slightly lower than it??

rear passenger...then this one is really lower? (its not just the angle of the pic it really is down in there)

i guess my question is if the locks are supposed to sit flush with the housing??? cuz at one point i think they were but one of my friends was trying to unlock the door by pulling up on the lock instead of pulling the handle twice...which when it is locked it is impossible to grip the lock...so he ended up pushing it into the housing further

so is everyone elses like this? or are they flush?

Mine was like that on my old A4. In not sure what caused it. Needless to say, it annoyed me.

Haha. My guess is that there was an after-market speaker system installed. Because when you pull the inside pannel of the door off, the lock is a separate part of the door and I think I fixed one of them by doing that.
