    2.7T rear O2 sensors MIL

    Hey Guys

    Sorry for the X-post. I figured I woudl check the 2.7T guys here...

    Basically both rear O2 sensors are through codes. What are the odds of both going at exactly the same time? Could it be vacuum or boost leaks? The car only has 53K miles on it, is this not a little early?

    I don't think your avatar is the one he was gonna steal...

    If the O2's are like EGT's(which I think they are), they can show codes in pairs. You can do some logging to see if they are within spec.

    I had the car on stands this weekend, and checked for boost and vacuum leaks. All was well. Also cleaned the MAF for good measure. Light stayed off for about 20miles... Doh!

    Looks like I'll have to pull them. Getting the whole hrness out looks like a bitch though. I bought the universal Bosches so I will pull the old ones and splice them on the car instead of removing them completely. Easier than trying to get that harness out on top of the tranny! Will take some pics. Hopefully no rain this weekend...
