Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I've been thinking about an RS4 for awhile now, but have put it off purely because its not an Avant. However, this one has got me thinking differently...

What do you guys think? Anyone know of the history on this thing?

who stole the wheel idea from a Yamaha R6?!... and the taillights make the car lose its look. to each his own i guess, but it looks ok.

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

Those are oem RS4 wheels painted time attack style. The car is an "07 and even though it doesn't have any miles on it, it's still not an '08. That being said, the '07's were selling for 10k below sticker when the '08's arrived.

If you are interested in that car, you should be able to get it for more than 10k below the original sticker price. I would shoot for somewhere in the neighborhood of 60k. You should start low becasue the dealer is going to push up the price. Start at say 58k hopefully you can end at around 60 to 62k.

The car is down here in my area. If you are seriously interested, I would be more than happy to take a look at the car for you, take some high res pics and check out the general condition of the car. Pm me if you want some assistance.

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

Thanks for the offer RAudi. I live pretty close as well and am taking a drive up there on Wednesday to check it out. I also agree that the price is a bit steep, and in the last couple years I've learned how to make modifications on the car seem like a negative thing, so hopefully that will help with the price. Personally, I wouldn't pay over $60k for this car.

I'll let you guys know how the haggling goes.

    Where is Olivenhain?

Hey Jerry, this is my last week off of work. I gotta go back early from disability before the disability popo catch me. Got 6 weeks of disability and only gonna take 4. So I would love to hook up with you one night this week and check out your ride.

BTW, we missed you on Sunday and actually had one great drive. Two popo encounters, one at the gas station while we were filling up and another when we pulled over on the side of the twisties. All in all it was a great drive and Channa's got video.

Sorry for the TJ Cartel, back to topic!

Raudi, how do you like your new RS4? Think it was a good buy? I'm looking at this and a used E63 or E55 wagon. I've never driven either... hopefully this week I'll drive both. Seems like the RS4 would be a bit more sporty, eh?

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

I took my first semi serious drive with it this weekend with D2D, Channa, Evan from Surfside Detailing, who I'm gonna have detail my Maxima in a few weeks, and another cool guy named Alex, who doesn't post that often. The car was amazing. I absolutely loved it and it really performed flawlessly. I can't imagine how it would do with some Ohlins on it.

Ohlins are amazing... I've got the StaSIS Olhins kit on my B6 Avant and couldn't be happier with the setup.

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

The car has all sorts of mods on it for only having 1800 miles clocked on. I saw the car on Saturday. The car looks good but who ever did the wheels did a sub-par job on the red pinstripe.

They are sticking pretty firm to the asking price and the car is located inside on the Audi showroom floor.

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

They are not budging so far. I tried to get them to $60K, but they claim they paid $63K and offered me the car for $63.9K. At $60K I was ready to buy. Car has KWv3's, Full Milltek including DP's, and a short shift kit on it. The guy to speak with is Derek in the Internet Sales dept.

I figured for $64K I will spend the additional $4K for an M3 sedan.

Re: Anyone know who's RS4 this was?

BTW they claim to have receipts on the car for $9K in mods. From the things they describe it totals about $4K or somebody got ripped off. If you look hard enough you can find a sub 10K mile RS4 for $57-58K. Either that or wait for the inevitable deals on the remaining RS4's. The $10K discounts will be back.

one thing to keep in mind, mod's actually lower the car's resale, unless it's a private seller!

Exactly! I'll see what's going on this weekend... maybe if I mention the new M3 they'll budge from 63k...

No, but one of your relatives used to live in my neighborhood I believe. I had a Moro B6 S4 and used to see your car all the time down the street.
