Re: credit card / change tray stuck

Yeah it's not for change it's for credit/gas cards. The change, or any small items really, gets jammed in the back. I'll look at mine tomorrow to figure out how to remove it. But someone will post an answer before then. LOl

mine's gotten stuck a couple times. last time i just punched it really hard and it opened. time before that a bunch of good ol' fashioned "jiggling" worked it loose. now i just dont put change in it.

You can probably get a hook in there now and pull it out. I have heard that a fist slammed down on the dash above the tray can dislodge coin jams. Otherwise I guess you could pull the radio.

isnt it the same as taking out a cupholder? Remove the top of the console by pulling it out, and the card holder is just clipped in

atleast you could smoke when you found out your oil pan was fucked. hahaha.

and like i said earlier -- a good, firm, well placed punch should open it up. that's how i have to open my back-seat cupholders. (pushing it doesn't work... but if you hit it just right it pops open every time)

when mine gets stuck i use a credit card to pry it open. just stick it in and use it as a lever type thing. see if that helps at all
