Re: any way to bleed a cluctch without power bleeder

Why do you need to bleed your clutch? Did you just change your clutch or something that required removing teh tranny?

I ran into this same problem changing my clutch. After MANY, MANY, MANY attempts of conventionally trying to pump the clutch pedal (in order to bleed it) it proved to be unsuccessful. LUCKILY I found someone locally who had a power bleeder, so in 30 seconds my clutch was bled! I then bought my own. Which I HIGHLY recommend you do.

Anyways, here what you need to do:

2 people are needed. Pump up clutch pedal a few times and then the second person opens up the bleeder while the the person in the car pushes down on the pedal and when it bottoms out you tell the guy under the car that it is at the bottom and he closes the bleeder.....Reapeat until all air is out.

Bleeder is located on top of the bellhouse on the slave cylinder.

Search for better and probbaly more clear instructions
