judging by those pics, the movie looks all about show cars. no one races with huge rims like on that charger. but im lookin forward so much, so much excitement i may blow teh welds of teh intake!!11!!

dont like the movies that much...but the 3rd one isnt that bad imo. i was actually surprised after i watched it because i thought i would hate it like the first 2. some of those cars are ugly as hell from that link you posted. i really cant figure out what people think so that they spend so much money on their cars only to make it ugly as sin....

some people think that a proper way to shift on a track is by pressing the clutch in and shifting into neutral, then pressing the clutch again upon wich you then select your gear...or at least thats what a bud told me, pretty stupid sounding imo.

I think thats a really oldschool way of driving. Idk if I'm 100% right but I think it only applied to downshifts. I'm pretty sure you had to do it on old cars though.

It applies to old school road-racing from what I understand, with the downshifting as you stated. It's a part of the "heel-toeing" it thing. read up on it when I was trying to get into roadracing last year.

^yes it is used on non-synchro transmissions (so either old or race cars) and it's only used while down-shifting. Which makes it double funny that in the movie the line refers to late 90's imports and during a drag race. I really think some dumb lines in those movies were put in there on purpose, almost a little tounge-in-cheek.

people drive all sorts of different cars in California, it's a big state. there tend to be a lot nicer cars on the roads than in other parts of the U.S. though.

double clutching applies pretty much to the older trannys without syncronizers, you would release the clutch in neutral to syncronize the gears, but i hear people do it with syncroed trannys too to slow the gears down between shifts.. but thats never necessary imo.

The only good thing to come from the F & F series is if your car is in the movie you know some fool is going to pay your asking price for the car when you sell it.

double clutching is also for tractor trailers... they should have big rigs drag racing in F&F4
