reached 50k miles...

im just over 50k and warranty is over im debating the new 1 what problems can i expect if any now like turbo going or anything? my car is a 2006 2.0t also i have stassis street c/o's with about 25k on them anything need to be changed? should i "baby" my car more.. any ideas when our cars engines start to go im hoping 150k.. any info would be great

our engines can last long after 150k with proper maintenance. you have nothing to worry about my friend, just make sure you take care of her and she'll take care of you.

Most of the people who buy audi's buy them because of this factor... I have one in the family that is a 1999 with 110,000 on it and the only thing that had to be changed was the wheel bearings... not bad at all

The engines are built to last in general. Its the other 'supporting' parts that may go bad, but that goes for any car. My advice is to start looking around for a local wrencher familiar with Audi's cause shops (indy or dealer) are so expensive these days. First place to start is your regional forum.

killed the turbos on my allroad 2.7tt at about 85k miles. and it was chipped and i beat the piss out of it.
it'll last.

I have a 1.8T jetta and it has 110k on it. chipped with other mods. Ride it hard, no serious problems, knock on wood. The 1.8/2.0 motors are tough. Start running synthetic
