Grill Question

Should I have my front grill painted gloss black (including the chrome) or should i just buy one from ECS. The Paint shop said they would not guarantee the black on the chrome won't chip off in a few years. He's will paint grill and the fog light grills gloss black for under $300.... Kinda like the front of my Q7

but the chrome trim around the grill will be black too. So guys give me some tips... I'll also probably have him black out inside the headlights and remove the amber corners while the front bumper is off.. Thx Again guys Coop I'm open to any suggestions(maybe I should just leavetrim chrome? But I really want the stealth look on my wht A4

im all for that idea. i'm about to have my grille painted black but leave the chrome around it. people who paint that chrome generally do see it chip after some miles. also, the chrome around that grille flows back to the chrome around the windows and the rings on the grille etc. just my opinion.

just curious of why your posting stuff about your q7 here? this is a b7 a4 forum....anyways, I would keep the chrome and paint the rest gloss black

after hearing all the problems that people have with peeling, I just purchased an all blk Sline grill from ecs...

thx for the feedback... Hey Auditude with all the mods you have to your engine, how much more horse are you getting? If you get caught with a test pipe out here , thats a $2K ticket plus an impound..Ouch
