First....I love this car. If it's running well and everything's tuned it's a great machine and not bad to work on.
However,
When you own a 99.5 and the people before you couldn't give 2 shits about the car and you have to fix the problems I feel like setting this thing on fire. I wanted to put on the 269mm rears, paint my calipers and change my brake lines. Front's went awesome. Painting looks like crap, but I can change that later. Brake lines came off no problem! Was done that in no time. Even bled the clutch....things where going well.
Then I hit the rears. Both my rear calipers are seized. The two calipers I bought to replace them are also seized. (I'll take the blame for not checking)
I started to do the brake lines and they're now rounded off....even with a flare wrench. Parking Brake. Took that off to change the calipers and the lock clip was actually rusted to the PB arm on the back of the caliper. The adjustment for the parking brake is supposed to be a hex, but that was round before I even touched it.
Oh, and to top it off I couldn't even bleed my brakes properly because one of the bleeder screws is also now rounded off.
