ANYONE running a t/p or gutted cat on 01?

I have a nice extra gutted cat and would love to throw this in as it's not my DD, BUT I was told there is NO way to do it with out a CEL, diodes, anti-fouler etc. on dbw models.

I find this hard to believe because at least with the diode, the ecu gets the voltage it wants, but does it relate to much to post cat readings?

I dont get a cel and I have a test pipe on my 01. Put it on. You will get a stored code that means your cat is not working.

i have a test pipe on my 01 with non-fouler mod and i get a cel for the majority of the time i drive it. it goes off and on, you should try this diode mod and tell me how it works for you

I just put the testpipe on and made the same exact thread.
Some say it wont do anything if you get some antifoulers,

I've had a test pipe on with an anitfouler for around 2k miles now and no CEL.

i have an 01 as well. Just do the anti-fouler mod and you shouldnt get a CEL

No you need 1 long and 1 short. I made the mistake of not getting a long one. No anti foulers...too lazy but no cel so whateva..lol
