Thinking I Have a Boost Leak

So I installed my GT71R kit this week and I got my ecu flashed with the Revo GTRS 550cc file. However, I've been doing some pulls and the peak boost I've hit is 14psi, and that was at 5000rpm. I've played around with my SPS3 to try and find a setting to fix this, but haven't been able to. Suggestions or ideas?

Do you have VAG-COM? You could check requested vs. actual boost.

Re: Thinking I Have a Boost Leak

If you are only hitting 14PSi most likely it is an issue with the N75 since that is what the wastegate spring is set at.

If you have a boost gauge, try disconnecting the signal line from the wastegate and carefully do a pull, the turbo should make 25-30psi easily.

***try to be in boost only long enough to see if it spikes***.

^ Like Greg said, sounds like the N75, go buy an EBC. Even if its not the fix, at least you'll have an EBC :-)

The N75 issue can easily be ironed out, the new 550 file has very smooth throttle actuated boost too.

I'm not familiar w/ the 550 program so if it is that much smoother than the typical 440 program then its not a huge deal, I just like the flexibility and if you're like me, I'm constantly adjusting mine. But if you dont NEED it, go buy HRE's like ^ he said

Re: Thinking I Have a Boost Leak

its not that I want an ebc, I just want my car to be boosting where it should be, so like 20-25 psi. and its not, so I'm trying to find a solution.

Did you disconnect the boost signal (small vacuum line) from the wastegate yet?
