    Alignment question

I lowered my car with H&R race springs and mounted some Ruff racing 18X8.5 but my old tires were getting worn out really bad and really fast on the inside after I lowered it! We don't need a special camber kit or anything just a 4 wheel alignment right? thanks

    Re: Alignment question

Ya, whenever you change suspension/wheels out, an alignment is a must.

    Re: Alignment question

Anyone have any experience with a non Audi dealer alignment?

They want $150 for a 4 wheel alignment.....Les Schwab (which has never let me down) wants $80 for a 4 wheel alignment.....

    Re: Alignment question

depends on the mechanics, audi suspension is quite a bit different, if they have the proper knowledge/training/manuals then they should be ok.

    Re: Alignment question

Don't know about your car but on my A6, when lowered, Camber can't be adjusted durign alignment, I would need a kit. By bthe way, the H&R RACE are very/too aggressive, they are very low so it'll defnitely mess your camber up. I hope you have shocks too or your OEM wont last long. The new springs will wear them quick.

Just paid $89 for a four wheel alignment at a Euro shop, shop uses the old string method like some race teams do... they did a better job than the other shop did with that top notch german machine (biesbarth or something like that)
