    Windshield Wiper problem

i've been having this weird issue with my wipers where the "overlap" area where the driver's wiper sweeps past where the passenger side came up is always smeared. it's the triangular area where the two wiper blades overlap each other. i thought it was bad wipers so i replaced them and it still happens. now, about a year ago, audi replaced the driver's side wiper arm because the hinge was rusted. it's been kind of wierd since then but no where near this bad. i'm thinking that maybe the arm isn't lined up properly?

i tried searching here but can't find a problem like this. any suggestions??

    Re: Windshield Wiper problem

I had the same problem when I first got my A4, they would work fine and then that small area would always be smeared. I tried clay barring the windshield which helped but didn't solve the problem and then I had new blades put on and that didn't work either. In the end I just ended up coughing up the money for the aero wipers and they work great!
