    difference between A5 and S5

i was looking at pics of A5s and S5s, is there any difference in the exterior styling between the two besides that wheels and the quad exhaust of the S5?

I really like the S5 but i may not be able to justify the additional cost of an S5 over the A5 so if there isnt much of a difference, i'd prefer getting an A5 instead.

Obviously the big diff is the engine, wheels, (brakes?) and some exterior body molding (ie front fender, skirts and rear apron) and seats. I would say get an A5 S-Line, pretty sure it has the same exterior looks without the hefty V8.

The only other differences not mentioned are a more pronounced rear spoiler, S5 emblem on brakes, silver side mirrors, lower front spoiler, grey grill, and V8 badging...

If you don't need the V8, go A5 S-Line for sure.....

+1 the seats in the S5 with the integrated head rests are just beautiful... i'd say its even more beautiful than the seats of the M3 it would be pretty sick if there's an option to get those seats in an A5

Any sport seats will be great actually, but yea the S5 seats rock.

I've driven both and was very impressed with the seats in the S5, but when my current lease is up it will probably be more then I'm looking at spending. The A5 actually drives out great and the new mods to the 3.2 really impressed me. Good sport seats would definitely steer me to the A5 S-line over the S5 (which may be why US spec S-Lines just have standard seats).

yes that makes some sense because in many european countries, people have to pay a huge premium to own a V8 gasoline car so they might offer more in the S-line package. the difference here between the A5 and S5 is not as great as it is in europe.

    Montreal Black,

I've got a black A5 S-Line, I'm located in MTL. Let me know if you'd like to see it, as they are rare in dealerships.
