Does anyone know what type of HID bulbs/ballasts/etc. these housings require? Would it take an aftermarket H7 HID conversion kit or does it require D1S bulbs/ballasts/etc.? Thanks!

the housing takes h7 bulbs. It should work with aftermarket h7 hid conversion kits too. But that would probably mean you can't close the back cover, and you don't know what type of light pattern it puts out.

I know these don't seem to be to popular, but can someone explain the projector piece. I get the Bi-xenons have the bulb(cover) in the middle that look like a beady shark eye. These seem to to. What kind of bulbs would these headlights run? I'm not talking the angel eye part but the beam in the middle that's between the blinker and the inside.

some ppl like the angles and some don't Its up to you. I think the most important thing is to make sure that the quality is good on these and that they won't break or fog up

    Re: Depo Halos for B7

The depo housing is designed for cars equipped with halogen reflector housings. The housing is made to take h7 low beam (and probably h7 high's too) just like the oe halogen housing. The description of the auction specifically says that it won't fit oe HID.

You SHOULD BE able to fit aftermarket h7 hid kits, but at the time, we simply don't know how the light pattern would look, and it may run into clearance issue.
