Emergency: Where locally can I get an axle for a B5 S4 asap tomorrow morning?

I am going to try the dealer, but I'm sure they'll rape me, if they even have it in stock. Any possibilities other than the stealership?

do you have a mavis tire around? they do axle work and 9/10 times they get their parts that morning that you come in and your car is ready later on in the afternoon

If there's anyway you could wait longer, buy one from Raxles.com

I used to buy from them. They use all new joints instead of old ones with new grease and boots like the autopart stores and the local repair shops.

The dealer probably won't have it in stock. (and the parts counter is closed on weekends) The price will very likely run in the hundreds of dollars range. Last time I got a B5 axle from Raxles it was $175 with a return tag for the old axle to go back to them.

PureMS sells them. I bought one a month or 2 ago and put her in. New everything as well. $90 and no return hassle.

I found a whole axle locally for like $72+ $5 core charge! The freaking dealer charged me $54 for an outer CV repair kit and $44 for an inner...yeah that'll be going back next week. I needed it for a track day today and tomorrow.

so baller. got your priorities straight! if you have a track day, GET HER DONE!

    lol

I was gona say - see if someone in your area is parting out one - like here in ForSale, VolksAudi, or Audiworld. Good chance you'll find one. or a junk yard. Dealer ususally is a pretty bad idea because they like to rape people in general, but if you need it overnight, you better bring your OWN lube, cause usually it will hurt.
