Sad question but is there a DIY for oil changes?

I would be able to figure it out because I work on my diesel trucks but is anything different on European cars? Ive never changed oil on the audi and would like a DIY just to make sure I got everything covered... I'm going to use 3w30 casterol synthetic (recommended by the dealer). What oil filter should I get? Dealer charges $20 for the OEM but I'm sure you guys get them cheaper somewhere like autozone and pep boys...

Should I use the casterol sunthetic oil? 5w30... its 70 degrees today and it will be warm till the end of summer.... (sounds like the correct weight for me)...

What oil filter should I use and how much oil should I get?

What mm is the oil drain bolt? Once oil and filter are out, should I start the engine for 10 seconds or no? and should I send the oil out to get inspected or do none of you guys do this?

Ive only worked on diesel trucks and machines and its sad to say that Ive never changed oil on a gas engine... Hmmm...

    Thanks in advance..

It's very easy on this car. I used OEM filter purchased from I think ECS. I believe they had a slight deal if you ordered 5, and I bought their magnetic plug which comes with 10 washers. Also these filters use a large oil filter removal tool. But all I did was drain, take off filter apply a small amount of new oil to the seal on the new filter, put new filter on to a firm hand tighten, and poured in new oil. I actually added less than I expected. I thought it would be close to 7L but was only just over 6L.
