RMPs dropping when steering wheel is turned at a standstill..?

Okay, I know that when you are in park or at a complete stop that turning your wheel is not great for your car, It will put a lot of stress on the powersteering pump but... When I did it the other day by accident, the RMPs dropped until I turned the wheel back to where it was. The car wasn't going to stall but the RPMs just felt like the engine turned slower... does this affect anything? I have 19" wheels on a 3.0L car but will the bigger wheel/tire size cause this? Is this bad?

Sorry for the questions but hopefully someone knowledgeable will have some information for me...

^^Mine does it, everyones does it! think of it this way: it's like when u turn ur wheel the PS pump start working so it's like when ur cars hot and the fans come on the rpm's drop a bit!

yup hes right everyones does it, just dont lock it in one direction for to long otherwise you will burn up the PS pump.

no no i wondered the same thing at first but our other cars did it as well, don't hold it at max for over 15sec or else overheat smoke and cash out of the wallet someone on here was doin donuts and went through 3 really fast!
