Lets see your Celebration (RS4?) wheels.

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,

I' picking up a set of 17" celebration package wheels, i think they look like the Rs4 wheels?

Anyway, i'm planning on refinishing them and i won't be going with a stock refinish. Post up some pics of you celebration/rs4 wheels either stock finish or better yet non stock. I have an idea of what i want, but i'd like see some other example. Going on my maroon 01 a4 avant BTW.

    thanks,

    jeff

Re: Lets see your Celebration (RS4?) wheels.

I just got my celebrations refinished. I bought the car with curb rash on one rim. I decided to refinish all 4 instead of just two. The guy told me it would be near impossible to get the polished aluminum look, so I got them steel shotted then powder coated with a dark silver. He called me and told me he didn't like the way they came out so he re-stripped them and powder coated them again. Then he clear coated them. All for $132.50. Couldn't be happier.

I'll get some pics up. The rim colour matches the middle of the center caps (around the rings). Then I spray bombed the outer edge of the center caps to match my silver car. Looks pretty sweet. Threw some Sumitomo HRTZ-II's on. All said and done, $530 for new looking rims and new rubber.

    edit: pics added.

see the 18" RS4 replicas in my avatar(edit: and pics below). Personally, I think the 17s are too small. 18s are perfect.

Sweet thanks! They all look really good. I'm thinking of painting the inserts black or charcoal and the spokes the stock silver. But I don't know if I feel like doing all that masking. Keep em comin'!

When you only quote part of it like you did yeah it comes across that way. If you read my comments before, not really. Sorry if you think I'm a douche based on that comment, but I don't understand why or how it's one of the douchiest things you've read on here in a long time.
