ok, I have the VEI A/F & Boost gauge w/ the PLX wideband sonsor unit and I have to F-ing clue what to do with the outputs on the sensor.

The WB controller has 4 outputs available (Wideband, Narrowband, 3.3V, and ground), and the gauge has 1 input (analog).

So Im assuming I connect the WB output to the analog input, but what do I do with the others? Put ground to a grounding source (even PLX claims thats its internally grounded with the power), leave the NB alone, and what about the 3.3V??

Please help because I feel like a retard

p.s. the controller came with 2 capacitors that Im not sure what to do with

the 0-5v output on the controller will connect to the input on the gauge.

the others you can probably leave alone.

check here for extra help ~> http://www.plxdevices.com/M-Series_installation.htm

my m300 only has narrowband and wideband outputs. i connected the wb to the vei gauge and just cut the nb wire @ the controller .

    Re: *Wideband setup HELP*

thanks for the link, so the capacitors are used on pages 3, but I dont need to do that do I, my application doesnt accept all those outputs.

so I only need to connect the 3.3V to my analog input, and leave the WB & NB outputs alone? should I still ground the grounding output?
