    RS4 clutch brake-in?

My very good friend and VWOA mechanic of 17 years says that the best way to brake in my new RS4 clutch and resurfaced LWFW is to just simply drive it normally - don't beat it, don't baby it, just drive it. WOT is fine, he says, so long as you're not going crazy.

What do y'all say to that?

It's just like bedding brake pads. If you heat them up too much before they're broken in you can glaze the material and FUBAR the clutch (or brake pads for that matter). Drive it GENTLY for at least 500 miles.

Your friend is correct. WOT wont matter much after the clutch is let out. It isnt going to slip. take off easy, and dont ride it to hill hold.
