While the boost gauge is neat it no longer comes with all the parts and id be worried about how it matched

I know right. That what I thought when I found that original O.CT piece. The DIY is much more intriguing. I am not concerned at all about the wiring, just the drilling. I could see myself messing it up. I want to do this.

I don't like how the LEDS stick out, i'd like to do it how you have it in the picture - bars of color illuminated from behind.

That's because the one from Stratmosphere replaces the gauge with their own that has transparent plastic instead of holes so the LEDs shine though instead of poking a hole through. Not really something you can do to your own gauge.

maybe i could cut them out like strats, then glue on clear plastic - then glue leds onto the plastic (well round about way make that work)...

I might be down for $270 at some point, but not $400...

so sick...but so expensive. Iv seen a mod where someone took out the voltage dial and made it a boost gauge. Looks pretty stock and clean.
