What do you guys think of this:

The power numbers seem low to me, and RS4 IC's? Shouldn't something bigger be used? Where are better GT kits?

    Re: GT25R kit?

IMO this is the best kit, but also the most expensive. Take a look at their FMIC upgrade, with Oil cooler. Pretty slick if you ask me. Also, remember these numbers are on pump gas, and they are with a conservative tune.
If you are as lucky as me, to have taken a ride in his first build-up... it was AMAZING!
Mark is a super knowledgeable guy... if I lived closer (and had a shit ton of money) there wouldn't be a question who I'd go to.

So thats why the numbers looked low... hmmm. I'd have them tune it for some good power and not be conservative. But thats just me.

    hehhehe

thats about the size of it.

Stellar quality, but they dont seem to perform like they should.

Vag stuff makes 475-500whp on pump gas with theirs.

    Re: GT25R kit?

ASP's 492 whp seems comparable to VAG's... And that was done on a bone-stock motor. Mark's car is much more built...
I think reliability is underrated around here, especially when you spend these kinds of bucks on a vehicle... i could care less if i'm 20 hp less than optimal, if it means my rods and pistons will be staying together.
Aggressive tunes lead to knock, which lead to rods snapping, holes in pistons etc etc... and then the day its extra hot and humid, and you get a less than optimal tank of gas, your engine blows.
Aggressive tunes only belong on cars running 100+ octane on the track, with trackside support if you ask me.
GT25's make these cars fast enough without being on the ragged edge.
Just my $.02 To each his own.

Looks sweet but you can buy a S4 for that much. I would love to get it, but you can get a well set up K04 for around $6k, my car is a dd and premium 91 oct pee water is $4.09 a gallon around here :( But if I had the money to burn, why not.

    Re: GT25R kit?

You can piece together a higher quality kit for a third of the cost.

Just look around with the innovation of GT products these days. Quality will outshine

Look in the classifieds, I got a Vag motorsport kit complete with fueling for sale.

Fueling an turbos are used, but in perfect condition.
    The rest is all new.

Pm me for a very good price if your interested in a 470whp beast at a price of a k04 or even an Rs6 kit.
