    Daytime running lights

So everyone knows on the S4 the daytime running lights(the two inner most) are "yellow", the other day i say a car that had xenon white lights daytime running instead of the yellow color. the daytimes are just bulbs, i was wondering if anyone knows of where i can get a bulb that is xenon white, or perhaps lightning white, that fit and work on the car.

You don't use them separately.......neither do I. But, they are on when your headlights are on. I've noticed the color difference between them and the zenons and I don't like it at all.

If I'm not mistaken I've heard about a lot of problems people have had when replacing the DLR bulbs - sockets melting, etc. I replaced my fogs with Hoens, which has been great, but I would make sure to do some thread-hunting before replacing the DLRs. Just my 2 cents.

The city lights are on when headlights are on, not the DRL. If you look, you will see 2 bulbs, big one in the center (DRL) and little one in the corner (city). I know in my car, I can turn the DRL off and never use them. The city lights, however, turn on when the headlights are on.

In that case then, it's the city lights that don't match and look like crap.

    My DRL's are disabled also.

    Re: Daytime running lights

The problem with replacing DRL with a xenon-match bulb, is that those bulbs are blue tinted and will make your houseing look blue due to the relfection. This look is commonly seen in most ricer cars with the HID-look bulbs.
