Newbie Transporting troubles

Hi All,

I recently purchased a B6 S4 Cab.I bought it on ebay.

The car is near Boston. I contracted with DAS to ship the car to Oregon. It has been sitting in the terminal ( outside) for 8 days. I've called and spoke to the dispatcher. They can't give me a day when it will be loaded on the truck for the trip!

Any advice?

did you fly out to see this car?? or just literally bought it on ebay? call a different transport Co.

Oh man, I've had bad luck w/ DAS, as in them driving my Supra before I got it delivered.

Horseless Carriage is the way to go if you want to gaurantee 100% it will arrive how it was last seen, if you can swing the price.

Don't use DAS, I used them twice and they s*ck. Your car will not be loaded on the truck only once, after pick up they will bring your car to a central location, unload it and reload it onto a truck headed for your area and unload it at another one of their facilities. It will then be reloaded and finally brought to its' final destination on another truck. They are not much cheaper than a direct door to door enclosed carrier.

Try intercity lines, pilot transport....and do a search. Good luck.
