audi warranty (a little story inside)

So I got some rattle going on with my driver side door..brought it to Rusnak (where I bought the ride) and they want to charge me $135 just to look at the damn door!!! WTF??? its a 07 and under warranty and they still want to charge this BS!!! I cant believe these a-wipes. ZERO customer service after you bought the car...anyways...wil Penske do the samething? They are closer to me anyways so I feel like going there since Rusnak can eat sh*t now.

Get the name of the service manager. Then contact rusnak upper management. If that doesnt work to your satisfaction, contact Audi.

same shit happened to me... well kinda... at Rusnak Pasadena... my sidemarkers are fogging up.. i tell them to check it. they call me back a few hours and say that theres nothing wrong with the part and they replace it anyway at my expense. its only $15, but i think its bullshit.

supposely the new policy is that anytime they are gonna look at your car its 135 bucks. Then they will confirm with you if the part is a defect or just a loose nut.

Anyways its bunch of BS, never heard of this crap. The service writer was John something forgot. Anyways I called Penske (the sales rep was Jerry Loh) since my boy just leased an A7 from him and he set up an appt for me tomorrow and it will be done for free since the ride is under warranty. I called my salesman at Rusnak and gave him an ear full and will report this to Audi USA.

I'm never going back to Rusnak again. Bunch of crooks

installing a D3 so I did all the wiring but dont have radio removal keys. I walked into the dealership and told them I know what I am doing and if they could remove the radio with their keys. Guy says OK, I walk out to the car with him, takes literally 5 seconds. I was talking to the guy after and he said that it was suppose to be 135 dollars but he wouldnt charge me. Guess they have some new policy.

Well, don't expect miracles and handouts, but as far as any dealer experience I've ever had, there is no comparison. Penske is about as good as a dealership experience gets.

I know but they were far better than Rusnak...

The best service I ever had was with WC Nissan when I had my Z...they replaced everything under warranty..this includes small cracks in the headlights....its ironic because I didn't even get that with New Century BMW and Longo Lexus with my parents cars...

its actually their "former" employees that took care the enthusiasts...guys like tim and Heri (who left for performance nissan and lexus respectively)....who pretty much never said no to anything under warranty and 45 bucks for motul oil change? 35 bucks for all 4 wheel alignment for Z and G owners? those two guys were unbelievable when they were at wc nissan

bleh i dont know if i should spite or thank performance nissan... i go one day to look at a GLI, i said hold it for 1 day while i get my check and paperwork... i come next day and they sell my GLI... scroo them.. i almost get hit by an audi.. etc etc. now i got one.
