Well [depending on the wheel] you are usually increasing the rotational mass of the wheel over stock weight. I would assume it shouldnt greatly affect stopping ability since you SHOULD be within the same diameter size of the TIRE.

It does not just depend on the weight of the wheels but also the location of the mass. 19" wheels place weight a a greater distance from the rotational point.

the only reason I haven't upgraded the brakes is because these damn Sevas aren't BBK friendly. I may look into spacers, but not too sure yet cuz I love my wheels

OK, to answer you guys. I upgraded my wheels to a set of 19" B7 RS4 reps from a set of stock 17" sports. BT has nothing to do with it but ever since I upgraded the wheels, my OEM brakes are not as effective. I would go the B6 S4 route but it's significantly heavier which I'm not trying to have happen.

This drives me crazy too, glad you beat me to it.
I've seen posts where people actually want to know how far they need to upgrade their brakes based on the Turbo they just installed... like 60-0 is going to change at all based on how much HP you have.

Actually not...the master cylinder is fine either way. The size of the pots are designed to work with the Audi Master Cylinders on the Alcon, Stoptech, and Brembo brakes.

Not one manufacturer has ever posted *the size of your master cylinder is inadequate, you must upgrade it.

You do not sell the most critical item for saftey on a car and withold information so you "can sell more".

FWIW, all 8E chassis master cylinders are the same size.
