    Just installed bulbs... problem

    PLEASE HELP
Installation didn't go smooth and quickly due to the stupid clips not cooperating. I finally got them installed about an hour later, reconnected the battery, turned on the lights, passenger's side lit perfectly and smoothly, but the driver's side (original burn't out bulb) is not working. It turned on at first, but then went out, clicked a few times, and beeped a few times..
    What's going on?! please help!
I'm uploading a video of it to youtube now. will post link when uploaded.

    hm......
switch your passenger side bulb to your driver side......

if that still do the same thing.....check your wiring and connectors....

if your wiring is fine.....maybe your ballast is out....

BTW....does our car has relay to switch on our headlight? if so...maybe you can also check that out...!

I feel ya. They are a PITA. Good luck, hopefully you'll get it fixed. I might have installed the bulbs upside down because my lighting is extremely low. I still haven't taken them out to fix it.

forgot to mention... before this, my drivers side started turning a purple color, and then went out. it would still turn on for about 10 seconds, then crap out and there would be a "headlihgt out" beep and signal on the screen on the instrument panel.
also, if i swapped them out right now, could i just plug them in and then turn them on without putting them into the headlights themselves?

    Re: Just installed bulbs... problem

Changing the bulbs is quite simple if you remove the headlight assembly, which is also simple. The 3rd bolt next to the fender can be removed with an extension and a magnetic pickup tool.

As far as your problem if it started to happen RIGHT after you put the bulb in I would imagine it's a loose connection. Check things in this order: Loose connection > swap bulbs with known working bulb > ballast.

I had a similar issue a few months ago where I replaced my H7 high beam bulbs and afterwards my HID low beam would not turn on on one side most of the time and produced the same sound yours did. It would turn on when it was cold but if you turned the lights off and then back on it would not come on. I figured it was the ballast because I switched bulbs from left to right and the problem continued. I tried new bulbs and the problem was fixed.

    Re: Just installed bulbs... problem

i usually just stick newspaper between the screw and screwdriver so it holds it tight to the screwdriver. Makes it easier to put back in. I still have to take out my bulbs and see if i put them upside down also like Jayyyyyc..
