Anyone Interested?

Going to be taking a short road trip with my Finacee for my 25th birthday (May 1st). Leaving Florida Thursday night and heading up to North Carolina for the weekend. We are planning on hitting up the "Tail Of the Dragon" Saturday and camping out about 30min from there Friday and Saturday night. Anyone want to meet up and have a Mini AZ GTG Saturday morning then head over to the Dragon Saturday afternoon for some fun? If anyone is interested in making the drive or if you want to stay the weekend as well, PM me or post up for some more info!

Why earlier? You have plans that weekend?

I think it is about 6 hours from me. Granted I have two finals the following monday I may try to make it there for the day and then drive back. I'll keep you posted. I've heard that the dragon is really policed now-a-days. If you want to travel a little more north I can take you and your fiancee on the ACNA Fun run loop.

The potomac chapter of the ACNA has a bi-annual fun run that goes through VA and WVA all on back roads that are super fun to drive. I have the entire map and course turn by turn somewhere in my room

i did this with my wife (early marriage) in my 01.5 B5 A4 1.8TQMSC had less than 500 miles on it. was wicked i think i added a adjustable rear sway on firm. the car was sliding all over the lanes (loss of left to right traction) and my bro in his WS6 trans am was a half to full mile behind me (traction issues).

wife was just giggling or peeing her pants or both but it was awesome. was going way too fast for that stretch of back to back curves and ran with it.

i'm still married with a little one now. she says her 02 330ci coupe triple-black kicks the audi's azz (02 b6 1.8T); i tend to agree for the most part. your chick looks super hot in a bmw coupe.

There's already 65 Audi Club people signed up for Quattro de Mayo 2008. It goes from May 1st through the 4th (hence Quattro de Mayo). It's a joint event from the Cherokee, Southeast, and Ohio Valley chapters. I'm leading a group from Ohio down on the 1st.

It's open to everyone. HQ for the event is down in Highlands, NC. The driving routes are being finalized. The main hotel, Mitchell's Lodge, is booked, but others are staying in nearby hotels and cabins. A detailed itenary will be posted on the registration site. You can choose to do all group activities, or go out on your own and meet back up with everyone for dinner/lunch.
