probably because we don't get roof spoilers with our s-line package so no one knows they exist. Do you have a pic?

It's simply placed over the stock spoiler and bonded down. Let the car sit 12 hours or so. The stock spoiler serves as a support for it. Test fit it, but that's how my install went (done by dealer).

Ok. SOunds good. But I guess you have to cut the mounts under the s-line spoiler for it to fit over the old one, Right?

Did this to mine. No cutting or anything. Just clean/de-wax the top of the stock spoiler. Run a few beads of the adhesive lengthwise across the area and around the perimeter. Then press the sline spoiler on. Use masking tape to hold it in place and a couple of well placed books to add pressure. Let sit overnight and your done

One tip, the audi adhesive given with the spoiler has a very short shelf life. More than likely it'll be fully cured by the time you get it and'll be useless. Go to a place that sells windshields/auto glass and ask for a tube of polyeurethane adhesive (usually made by 3M). Make sure the tube is still soft as well. The first tube I bought was also fully cured and I had to buy another one. Good luck!

Nice, but it looks like I have to cut the innermountings on the s-line spoiler? It is 2 screwmounts that comes down inside the spoiler. Did you have this?

you might want to check and make sure this is the right spoiler for your car before you go to install it and find it's the wrong one! I got our spoiler from ECS tuning and there was nothing to trim, it just glued over the old one. Perhaps if it's a different part number, that could be true, that it's just a one piece spoiler that completely replaces the smaller stock spoiler. Or, if possible, go look at an S-line avant and see if it looks like the piece is covering the smaller stock spoiler.

It should be the correct spoiler! Think you only have one partnumber for the s-line roofspoiler. When I look at other s-line avants you can see that the s-line one cover the non-sline spoiler.

Decided not to drill holls in the original spoiler so I just cut off the inner mounting. Will clue it with Tec7. What kind of tape should I use to hold it in place? Has to be kind of strong to keep the spoiler in place while the tec7 dries.

I think you're talking about two different spoilers. The one shown in ETKA print out is the standard spoiler (8E9 827 933 C GRU). The one artinmoTTion got from ECS is likely the Votex one (8ED 071 640 9AX).

It's 2 bolts that you have to cut of if you don't want to drill two holes in your original spoiler. The s-line goes on top of the non-sline spoiler.
I have cut the two bolts of now and it is ready for mounting but it is just to cold outside to do it and I don't have a garage. :(
So any recommendations regarding tape to hold it in place while drying?

it will...

You could also use a but of 3m double sided emblem tape (large width) but thats risky if you drive at high rates of speed..
