    Question about my new brakes.

I am replacing my brake pads with PBR creamics and ECS cross drilled and slotted rotors this weekend. My question is, if any of you have done brakes on your B7, did you also have the brakes bled, or is it necessary. My car only has 27k miles on it, but I wanted to get a good idea from anyone who may know. Thanks

Re: Question about my new brakes.

bleeding the brakes is pretty quick and easy and should be done every so often as a maintance thing. I usually bleed them 1x/yr or after a track day where i may have been a little over aggressive with the brakes. Bleeding the brakes every 30k miles would good maintance.

Correct--you should flush/bleed your brake fluid every 2yrs or 30k on average. Of course if you drive aggressively (ie track/DE days), doing it sooner is good too.

I hope your rotors last a good amount of time.
