So i did it. Just purchased my first German Car. Car has 71k on it. Got her for $15,000. Timing belt has been changed and it has the APR 1 upgrade on it.
Here are the pics. Do tell me what to expect now. I've been driving hondas,acuras, and lexus my whole life.

71K for $15,000...not too bad...it's a good deal, but i don't think there's anything exceptional here. that's a lot of miles for an '04/'05 USP.

deff not a USP, umm door blades, rear bumper is different, if its an 05 it would say S-Line in the steering wheel, and few others...

Well he lied to you, its not an USP(atleast what i can see in the pictures). first of all it looks like it has an ABT front bumper and a base stock rear bumper thats painted and USP wheels and its hard to tell but i dont see door blades either.

but its still a great looking car and welcome to German family of cars!!!

15K for a 71K w/ timing belt done 04 Sedan is not bad. it would be an excellent deal if you really got a USP, but from the looks of things everyone is correct, it's an ABT front COVER (not bumper).



So there's your "initiation" into the German car tuning world....

may want to replace fuel filter, brake fluid and control arm bushings. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS keep an extra coil pack in your trunk.

imo time to shoot people for getting a non-usp when you thought it was.

Have you made any calls yet, or you don't care. IMHO for that money, you can get an a4 with less mileage. Idk how you or anyone else feels, but thats what I think.

Any chipped / modded car will be blowing them frequently, hopefully not so frequently if you are lucky. I blew 2 within a months time.

I dont think anyone in their right mind would move away from the rear valence of a USP and go to a regular valence. I suppose the front ABT cover could go over USP front/lower but again, why would one do such a thing?

maybe the original owner got rid of the usp front and rear. but it doesnt have a rear spoiler either.

IMO USP is the best cosmetic looking. It's all styling I believe. And what, the 04's + were 6 speed I guess.

Very true. Just imho. for 15,000. Since you from the looks of things got an a4 with usp wheels and such, and missing other stuff. You would be able to find another a4 for possibly less, with less mileage. No big deal, just me saying what I think. I do agree...car looks great

LoL yeah how do i change the username? I havent filled the gas tank yet. How much are you guys $ avg. per fill up and milage that you get? My old lexus is300 would get about 325miles and fill up is usually $50bucks.

At 3.71 for 93. I fill up at like $50. Usually 13 gallons. I can get just about 415 miles out of a tank. with my current mods.
