You guys have any tricks to keep the Tip from shifting on a dyno. The longest we could get it to hold out was 6300 RPM.

Also, anyone make a chip for the TCU in these cars?

I talked to a GIAC rep about their tip chip this past weekend. They don't have one for the B7 yet because they want to do it thru the flash loader. At least it sounds like they are working on it.

    Re: Tip on Dyno

I mentioned keeping it in S and using the paddles to shift up to 3rd gear, they said they were but it still was shifting at 6300rpm.

I was getting abour 275hp and 270tq at the wheels, with no signs of HP dropping off. I figured if it would have hel I would have hit 290-300 at the wheels.

Va-terps4: I have a B6 but I dont think that matters about a tip chip does it?

    Re: Tip on Dyno

umm... i dunno usually S mode will keep the revs up to 6900, which works out since the tip peaks (supposedly) at 6800 rpm instead of 7000 like the manual
