I'm actually going stage3. Each d/pipes ares 2.250'' entering my cat back. My cat back will become one 3 3/8'' at the midle but then entering in a high flow muffler with two 2'' exits. WTF i'm intering 2,1/4'' and exiting 2''. Would you guys cut mufler and weld a straight 3,3/8'' pipe till the end of car? Or cut out the tips at the end of muffler for bigger ones?

Cutting the tips of the muffler won't due much good. What brand exhaust is this.

It's a neuspeed. I'm not saying just cutting the tips, but also bore the holes and weld some biger tiips.

Re: would you cut cat back?

wouldnt it be est to not have any mufflers at all and just have straight pipes

    thats the most freeflowing way

of coarse thats going to be rediculously loud but if you dont care i think that would be the way to go

Re: would you cut cat back?

Get a 3" in and 3" out straight flow muffler in the middle. Don't bottle neck the exhaust with a small muffler, it defeats the purpose of a bigger exhaust.
