Rims are on!

Finally I got my rims on yesterday. Agust Werke 19X8 wrapped in contisport3's 245/35/19. The rims are also painted to match the dolphin grey color code. What do you guys think??? its all stock otherwise...

The ONLY thing is I feel like the spokes of the wheels don't fallow the lines of the car as well as I'd like, but those are picture and I'm sure they don't do the car and wheels justice.

Ya i kinda know what you mean, but in person they have a subtle rounded look to the spokes so it kinda flows with the car better than the pics percieve them.
As for slammin it, I'm still torn about that, I don't want rubbing issues, esp. since I'm running the 245's. We'll see though. For now im happy the way it is. Puttin APR downpipes on next week too!

They are specifically mad e for Audi....... but ya theres mixed feelings with em.

Thanks man, as for the other audi, its a 2007 A8, dont know the color, but its like a greyish purplish black. It changes color in the light. As for lowering, I'd LOOOVE to, but I dont think I am only because the roads around here are absolute shit. Would be to worried, as it is I worry enough driving on them with stock suspension. Spacers are a good possibility ( maybe 8mm) and im def doing the 28mm rear RS4 sway.

Very good comeback. Take some better pics out of the garage. Nice setup and in one of your pics, your rear wheel wells look like bulging RS4 wells.

The design is too mundane for such an elegant and expensive car. The wheels look like an amateur designed them with the very simple elongated rectangles, etc. The car has smooth, complex curves and a wheel that compliments that theme is a better choice. You should do something about the cheap-looking valve stems/covers.

You should have used 235/35-19. The 245/35-19 size robs you around 4 hp compared to 235/35-19.

The tire you chose is nearly 3/8" taller than the stock set-up. If you think the car looks lifted, it's partly because of this.

4hp huh. Is this a true tested & documented statement? or speculation? just curious. I just say, with 245's and an intake that is like -10hp in mods.

To each his own.. I wanted something different, everyone has BBS or Rs4 reps so I decided to do something new. As for the 4 hp.....its 4 HP, I'm not realy worried, and even though its a taller rim than stock, dont forget im running a smaller sidewall tire, I doubt if I'm more than 1/4 inch taller. As for the design aspect, these rims were designed exclusivly for Audis only. I think they go well with the lines of the car. Then again, the pics don't give em justice either. Hey maybe its a love/hate thing.

nah , actually i was trying to sell them because the paint job was shitty, but I just got them repainted. I'm sure you know how it feels, going back and forth between ideas for your car, I sure do.

With respect to tire dimension differences, you can get the actual numbers by going here

Although I understand the loss of HP would be a result of the wider tire being heavier, I'm not sure how S-Fore arrived at 4 HP

not a fan of the rim style, im not a lip kinda guy, but I love the color matched, nice choice
