    Re: bad misfire

I'm having the same problem, only with stock Ko3s. Just replaced icm not too long ago. If I go over like 3/4 throttle it just bogs down like crazy. Help us out guys!

    Re: bad misfire

I remember a person whom had his gap specs. Thatwhen he set the gap to .030" he was free from misfires. Worth a try. I do not recall his set up though. He would misifre at the recommended .028 and it stopped when he gapped to .030".

    Re: bad misfire

i changed my plugs today and gapped them at .032 and the car feels much smoother, when i had them gapped at .028 i got a slight misfire at WOT every now and then. you may want to check the connectors and wires as well they crack sometimes due to heat

    Re: bad misfire

Could be a bad coil pack if you replaced maf / icm. Get the car vagged.

    Re: bad misfire

I would check out the wires going into the coilpacks. Those crack open sometimes. Usually not on Audi's though cause VAG gave us Rubber protection boots. VW 1.8t's Just get exposed wires. Hahahah, cost cutting

    Re: bad misfire

Wouldn't a bad coil cause the car to misfire/bog down all the time? Not just under boost?
