Found this loosely inside the engine bay ( 04 B6 3.0)....what is it?

holds the battery in place or something. sucks taking it off good thing yours already fell off haha.

yep, battery tie down. i goes on the front of the battery facing the engine compartment.

i would reinstall it. you don't want your battery flopping around.

i don't but search "battery" in the B6 fourms here and AW. you'll find some photo's.

it screws in right in front of your battery. the long black part is for you to hold on to line it up because it is tight as shit down there. it should be easy to see where it bolts in.
