stock boost might be off?

I've been reading that some of you guys spike around 18-20 on your chipped cars...I am only hitting like 15 or 16 psi and drops down to like 14....should i start looking for a boost leak? I am not sure if that is normal or not because it's 1 bar chip which is about 14.5 psi sooo ionoo. any input?

i'm apr 91 octane btw

why do you want a spike? whats the point in that lol? my apr 93 in my golf has never spiked and im happy about that, spikes feel like surging which isnt a good feeling imo

ya i have the APR 91 octane chip and i peak at about 16 and hold steady at 15

sounds good. I thought something was broken when it was hitting 7 and holding 5......car hasn't been in chipped mode for months as it turns out. lol. I need to catch up with some maintenance now, shits gonna break faster.
