Blown DV, or at least it appears to be!

So i'm at most convinced that finally my Diverter Valve has blown, the times past it's been little things.

Example: Last time I had no boost pressure, my oil plug had come off. My DV made no noises that would indicate that it was failing.

Now this time, I've checked for oil spraying anywhere in the engine bay with no luck.

However, when I accelerate rapidly, my CAI builds u know the pressure and sound of the turbo spooling up. I release the gas pedal and it releases the air that was circulating, but after that, short delay between the two, it sounds like all of a sudden I have a SSQ Blow off valve, which I don't.

But i've noticed I have absolutly no boost pressure at all. Driving home from AMC 24 tonight over in Highlands Ranch, I noticed that when hitting the throttle the car was producing no boost, and felt rather slugish.

So I am assuming that the DV is blown, had a Check Engine Light on this weekend, but however, it has gone away since and has yet to appear again.

Can someone please help me to try and diagnose this problem!

Have you checked for boost leaks?

I know for us 1.8T guys, a common place for a leak would be the vacuum line that connects to the intake manifold. Check there. You do have a boost gauge correct?

Do 2.0TFSI motors have a throttle body alignment process? If they do, try that as well.

It certainly sounds like the DV.

I sent you a PM about how to go about inspecting it.

appreciate the PM will be checking into that tomorrow when I get a chance.

Does it matter that my CEL no longer appears?
