Finally debadged!!!
And a bonus pic:
Fyi, just a tip, spraying water to the ground makes pictures omgwtfpwn.
Same day, took a trip to Eurocode in Torrance to get my Forge DV purchased and installed. I was pushing to get the blow-off spacer installed too with the DV, but got talked out of it. It almost sounded like "hey, you can buy the spacer from us but we're not going to install it..." kinda sentiment. So I figured there must be a reason for that.
While I was waiting, I was chatting with one of the sales guys, Jeremy, who's a badass btw, and a hardcore VW/Audi enthusiast (dude looks 16 and drives a cool, sleeperish 2.0T GTI). He explained and showed me some sample 2.0TFSI dynos on Revo and APR.
APR, from the charts, run a slightly leaner fuel tuning compared to Revo. APR peaked at 240 whp, Revo peaked at 234 whp. And multiple graphs of the same car (with 10 min gaps per session) showed APR consistently peaking at ~240 whp, and Revo a little erratic at ~225 - 230. One (of 10) of the Revo runs showed a drop at 205 whp at 2500 rpms.
Dyno runs with a TP showed APR peaking at 254 whp, and Revo at 245 whp.
Both very reputable companies, I decided that I WILL do the APR 91 for my next mod on my list, then the stage 2 (probably later on) using the ECode testpipe, and be good to go!
Jeremy and them Ecode guys hooked me up with the APR trial program for 6 engine hours. I drove off, not expecting too much, but I was like [O_O]. The car turned into a beast!!! I felt like I can skool anyone on the freeway at 4th gear, consistently running at 5500 rpms (GOD I WISH I had a boost gage!!), it was SICKKKK!!!
Hands down to Eurocode!! APR got me SOLD!!
Btw, I liked the newly PKUHHSSHHHHHH sound of the Forge.
