Since everyday someone posts about gas prices I made a few tables to answer all of the questions. These tables will provide you with your yearly gas expense. I hope this helps.

    1. Select the table with the gas price you are curious about ie. $4.50 a gallon
    2. Select your average MPG ie. 15 mpg
    3. Select the amount of miles you drive per year ie. 15,000 miles.
    4. You have now found your yearly gas expense.

Re: All Gas Price Questions LOOK HERE

Thanks for posting, it helps me justify keeping my car vs a 2.0T for better mileage.

For me driving 20,000 miles at $3.75 per gallon, it costs me $1250 a year more at 15mpg vs 20mpg. $25 a week is a good trade for that V8.

    Great charts.

Gas prices are constantly changing. I don't really see how one can get their yearly gas expense using this table.

I purchase all my gas on my Amex Plat and at the end of the year I get a book that breaks down all my charges. There is a category just for gas. I spend sbout $3,300 per year on gas.

Other members may thank you for doing this though.

These tables took me 1 minute to make (2-variable data table in excel)... just trying to help some people out there realize that gas prices rising is not that big of a deal. Thanks to the media gas prices have become so hyped and hysteria has set in... I find it ridiculous. If you drive 15,000 miles a year and get 15mpg and gas increases 10 cents you only pay $100 more a year... if gas increases a whole dollar in one year you only pay $1000 more a year. The proposed personal income tax increases by presidential candidates should be the top priority rather than increasing oil prices in my opinion.

Rising gas prices is a big deal as it affects the prices that consumers pay for everything. Paying $3,000 or $3,500 per year on gas for my car doesn't bother me that much. Paying more for consumer goods and groceries does start to bother me. Personal income tax is another one that really bothers me more than anything. I totally agree that taxes should be a top prioroty for all of us.

That's nice that you made the charts for members to view. Now toss up some pics of your car for us to view.
