I need a OEM HID igniter!!!!!

I've been looking for about 5 days now everywhere! The dealership wants $430 for one!!![O_O] Thats crazy I could buy 4 HID kits on EBAY for that price. EBAY has a few headlights with it but I just want the igniter. Any help is appreciated!

Well when you call the dealership, they call it igniter. Ours is thin like an envelope an ballasts are boxy like, i guess its the same thing! They both do the same job!

What bulbs you have D1 or D2?
D1S has igniters build on top of the bulb, D2S (?) has it seperate, so you can remove square looking igniter from the bulb, ballast is big and usually mounter under or behind the housing.

What hex is used to take out the bolts holding in the oem ballast? The screws have an elevated center???

you can find them all over ebay for pretty cheap. its a t-20 IIRC to take them out.

Hex screws? Mine had torx screws, but size I completely forgot, you know that you must remove top two and loosed bottom two, removing the harness is PITA.

But the elevated middle wouldn't be a problem? It sems like it might hit that center piece..
