Dumb move when cleaning my interior and need a fix for ripped leather

So i did something a little dumb when i was detailing my car. I was cleaning the interior and i used a can of compressed air ( one's made for electronics and computers) to get some dirt out of the cracks and after i was done i left it in my car by accident. When i came back to my car in the morning i found the can exploded in to pieces because of the sun and i my interior passenger side door panel ripped and cracked. Anyone have any fixes? i was quoted $125 for a new door panel plus shipping from a junk yard. The pictures do it no justice, it looks a lot worse.

    [O_O] Holycrap!

I think you'll be happier just replacing that little piece of the panel if you can find it. I think repairing it will look funny; but then it depends on you & your car right?

    maybe try http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com

$112 isn't bad either though, I would have thought it would cost a lot more.

They sell leather repair kits at the local autozone-type store for around $20. I would reccommend that, if you can do it right, it actually looks good.

you could get a professional leather dude to seal it. I had a guy do my seat for 70 bucks and it looks great. But what is another 40 bucks for a hole new panel.
