no the grills had to come off and also what i wasen't quite happy about was that the rebar had to be cut a bit, but you know how performance parts are you have to alway modify something, there;s no such thing as a straight fit.

you know what when i bought my car i wasen't too crazy about the color, but now i love it, mostly because there aren't alot of them around, most of the A4's i see are all silver, nothing wrong with silver, i wanted one but it's nice to be different

ya wiht my godspeed fmic, they sent me a bigger core than advertised, so for the piping to work i would have had to hack the rebar a bunch. but instead i flipped it upside down and it worked perfect, but now the only problem is... its upside down.

well mine i couldn't turn it upside down because the cooler actually mounts the the bumper shocks, so you can only put it in 1 way[IMG][/IMG]

    Re: my new FMIC

Bad part is that only 1/4 of the fmic gets direct air flow. Other bad part is that if you change to a S4 bumper there is no way you can lower it down to fit in the opening.

Do you have a turbo upgrade? Just checking because FMIC's are pretty much useless on K03's.

A front mount intercooler makes a hell of a diff even on a k03 particularly on a 90deg day. Maybe VT doesnt get as hot as NYC but in the summer when that stock ic gets heat soaked it runs like shit.

Pretty close to what I sell the ER comp kit for, but it doesn't fit under the stock fmic. I am still trying to talk Fred to make the Sport kit for the B5.

    incorrect.

it all depends on the size of the intercooler.
