Fog lights as DRL ?!? Is that programmable ?

I see some B6 / B7 usually without HIDs, use their fog lights as DRL..

now I know on my B7, if I snip a few wires, I can manually turn on the fogs without headlights (my city lights will still be on)

but is there anyway to just program it so the fogs are used as drls ?

You have to VAG it and change the country code from Canada to USA.

You don't have to cut wires on a B7. Just cover a plug with tape.
