i might be trading in my 02 amulet 3.0 for an 04 brilliant red s4
the s4s at 13k and does not have warranty left (at least i dont think so)
and they might be giving me a good trade in price.. the s4s was at 33k and its a a quick sale pirce of 29,999.. i thinki could get this a lot lower but there are 2 things holding me back...

1)the total price after trade in
2) the total price mightend up to equal what i can get a brand new a4 2.0 s-line and in manual instead of tipp like this s4

the s4 has 13000 miles.. im sorry it sounded clearer in my head

im going to look at it at 4 today when i get out of work.. but i hate tiptronic but if its a good deal i might do it

btw i noe i posted a similar thread before.. but i really do appreciate everyones input.. it helps me not jump into or make any rash decisions

S4>>>>>2.0T A4, the S4 is faster (even in a Tip), nicer interior (and exterior imho). If you can swing the price then DO IT. Also idk the market for S4's in your area but you can probably find one in manual with comparable miles and do the trade if you really wanted to.

Make sure the s4 has no warranty. Mileage is good. Get the vin and see if it is out of the 4 year range.

skip it -- if you can get the B7 2.0T for the same price just do that. otherwise i say keep your a4. you'll hate TIP within a couple months (if not sooner), gas mileage is gonna blow, and no warranty on a s4 = BIG no no.

also find out why the car isn't a CPO if it's only got 13k on it.

look what I found, 2005 Brilliant Red S4, mileage is higher but it's manual, has factory warranty and a CPO
