water/meth & alcohol injection

Who's done it on the S4 and if you have how did you do it? Where did you tap to inject??
pre-map?? after the map??
looking for the best route to take.
im thinking on tapping the bi-pipe on both sides running dual nozzles pre-map
pictures of your install would be more than helpful

Do a search, there has been issues with TB rusting and eventually locking up last time I wanted to do it.

That is if you install in the bi-pipe

The IT were much lower on Mark P's car. I am sure it made some kind of a difference. He also noticed a lower timing CF's.

i believe they were negligible before a retune.

IAT's were lower.
i live in vegas. (115F summertime)
i want low iat's ... like no more than 45deg C under full load. i will then increase timing to see the gains.

Don't waste your time with the snow kit... Just get the aquamist HFS-1 .. it comes with the gauge and the failsafe.

when you install it into the bipipe do you need to take off the front end? in that write up on AW he had the front end off and his bipipe out. just wondering!

I think I saw a thread where the rusting was caused by steel charge pipes..

Somewhat OT.. has anyone heard anything about the AEM system? Seems reasonably priced and has a low level indicator as well.

the snow kits have the failsafe also. ive experienced nothing but good with the snow kits.

I have a tbody that seized up from running water/meth 50/50. it went from working fine to still can't pry it open with a screw driver a year later in one day. I think it is the brass to aluminum with the meth personally. I went crazy afterwards and run this

Thats the first time ive ever heard a statement like that. Aquamist makes nice prodicts, but they are a royal pain in the ass to deal with...especially if something goes wrong with the kit and you need some tech advice. I used one aquamist kit and immediately switched over to the Snow performance. The pump in the aquamist kit was bad from the factory(run for 5-6sec's then overheat and shut off), and i couldnt get a straight answer from anyone at Aquamist. Called up the people at Snow and they walked me through fixing the thing. We got it running and it performed well...but we decided to go with the Snow kit just because of their tech support.

Unless your IAT's are insanely high, this kit wont do much out of the box. You wont really see any nice gains until its tuned to compensate for the water/meth. I really dont see how the TB could rust since its aluminum, but it is possible for rust to transfer from the steel pipes to the tb plate...which can corrode and cause it to stick. Using the correct water/meth mixture will correct this....or you can just run straight meth
